Seems like a bit of a weak link in the whole front triangle deal without the seat-tube...

This is even sweeter! bling bling! 8)

That yeti is underspecced.
The 303 looks horn but as kalem says what the hell is holding the front triangle together? And that linkage system looks like trouble waiting to happen with those exposed roller surfaces. Time will tell...

WTF?? Looks like an awesome spec. Those forks look soo beefy.
The seat tube is still supported by the ally rail fairly well though Kalem.

That is a guide rail that helps determine the swingarm travel path. You can see it more clearly in the diagrams on this thread (http://www.farkin.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=20665).

Lucky Eddie ain't on here anymore...
Lookey what i see!

Interesting to also see a "pro" bike using the older doradoes as opposed to the new ones...
Eddies still on here, just masquerading under the psuedonym "road warrior" and keeping a low profile. He's a dialupper too so banning him is always a token effort.

Hehehe it was a bit of a sarcastic remark. What i would give to have one of them to burn around on?
Craziness... linear instant centre movement... it boggles the mind!

Yes
Nah really, having rails like that means you can get a true straight-line axle path (if that's what you're after, but it's pretty useless really), more importantly it means that you can veeeery easily plot any IC path that you want, and this also means that you can quite easily adjust braking and pedalling traits independently. Possible to do with conventional pivots, but IMO much, much easier this way.

I guessed that that was the reason (at least the straight axle path bit...) but I most probably wouldn't have used the same words to describe it ...
Here's a little gem I've used on occasion for my course though... "pseudo-US, neo-colonial expansionist threat"... the mind boggles indeed!!
looks pretty good
but still i dont really like those exposed rails
its not likely anything will jam in there during riding
but when you lean your bike on stuff it means you gotta
be super careful, let alone when you have a big rag
i bet it rides pretty bloody well
time will tell how this design will work
cover up the rails and im definately a fan

Hmmmm. I don't like the guide rail bit. More gadgetry that can go wrong and cost money. What happens if you flick a stone into it?

The real scary issue here is that S. is actually boggled by something technical, the likes of which must therefore cause the average man to have a brain hemorrhage. This holds especially true as he is still boggled after his next statement of techno-babble which he actually understood!
