my ipod has frozen and i dont know what to do it had full battery when it froze and it wont turn off and is just stuck on playing a song and nothing is happening.
when it returns to normal. should i return it to apple or just leave it.
has this ever happened to a friends ipod or your ipod etc.
plz tell me what to do?.
my mate had a ipod it froze, same scenario, and ofcourse apple wouldnt put a reset button in because they think there ipods are perfect.
my mate literally had to wait 8 hours before the battery died and supposedly after that it was fine
switch the hold tab on the top of the unit to lock then unlock
then press the menu and play buttons at the same time for something like 5 seconds i think it is.
that should reset it

Some may call it karma.
Just a question: Your asking a group of internet noodles what do to about your broken iPod. Wouldnt your best bet be to ring an apple center? Thats what i do when somthing goes wrong with somthing i bought. You know, talking to people who know what their talking about, and have authority to do somthing about it...

Well, thaw it out then. Or, ring apple, or sell it on Ebay and buy a colour screen iRiver as soon as it resets itself.

As they said, hold menu and play until it reboots.
Ipods suck, and so do you.

nah mine had a different method as mine is the latest generation.
it was turn hold on then off
then hit the middle select button and the menu button for 6 - 10 seconds
What he said, This method has always worked for me.
at least you can scroll quickly throught the music collection
using an iPod :roll:
seriously who really cares which one is better
there are ppl satisfied with the iPod

If i had the cash i would buy and i-river but i wouldn't touch a i-pod with a 10 foot pole.

What on earth are you talking about?
The same thing happens to my Ipod all the time and I told him how to fix it. The guy posts a thread saying his ipod wasn't working, and then asks why another brand is any better. I could have called him a dolt and said: "well for starters, they work  ", but I didn't. I just accused him of having a short memory. Where did I ask him to justify anything?
Anyway, what do you mean me of all people!? Don't f**k with me Jack or my dad will send you too hell

I just bought a solid-state 512MB MP3 player off eBay for AUD$120 including shipping.
Why you'd want more than 7-8 hours of music in one hit is beyond me - it just means you only have the tunes you are currently listening to, rather than a small library.
