To those who are going down there tomorrow, can someone please post a status of how things are? Harder Nox and I are going on the following Saturday, so I hope most things are still available for a bit of practise.

I agree with what you're saying... but would it hurt to re-read your post so it makes sense?

I think after the gate incident they are being pretty strict on gates, none were open last time I was there.

there were 5 of us up there this arvo and al lthe gates were closed and obstacles rendered un-rideable.

The gates each had a big ass lock on them and orange plastic fence around them. The parts of the track that were closed were also made to be un-rideable or dangerous to ride, eg. the last gap had a fair load of planks missing from the landing and the speedbridge had random chunks of wood on the downramp.

It's a shame that GMBC have had to resort to this, if people respected the track in the first place it would not ened to be done.

I have also heard a rumor that following the next race the speedbridge is going to be re-built so that it is lower and legally allowed to remain open all of the time.

yeah, i was there too, the track is cool apart from the gates as simo said... but its a public liability issue so we (i hope i speak for eveyone) should respect that. Also, the track is unreal anyway and we are lucky to have such a great track near by with parks vic. letting us race there, regardless of weather we can ride the closed off stuff.

See ya'll at the race :)
