People have probably posted some of this stuff before but I haven't seen it so here goes.

Hayes El Camino

Some nice stuff there, that triple flange looks very interesting and the new Hayes look alot like Juicy 7's and have alot of the same features but have a claimed system weight of only 370grams. Sounds very promosing.

interesting, that rotor, must be the new standard rotor, cauz it comes on the hayes HFX'9. and the sram shifter looks good, so now u can run it from the other side of the brake lever.

Love the idea on the hub but unsure as to its use. is it to help with flat spots or what?
And the x9 shifter doesn't look like much has changed either.
Nice post.

That triple flange hub... I shudder at the thought of lacing+tensioning a wheel with one of those. The Speedplay pedals look like someone got bored with a drill press.
There's alot more interesting stuff at interbike, from the quick glances I've taken at the coverage, I like the following, only for the technology used... hopefully it all works:
Giants virtual pivot platform, hopefully bringing the technology to a cheaper pricepoint. Easton carbon-nanotube bars, bringing "space age" development to the mtb world (and charging a shitload for it), and I really like the new Yeti 303, only because it's something different. All of the above, I view with a cynical eye, but if they're successful it'll be great for the MTB world.

there is a change for 2005 for the shifter instead of down shifting at a 0degree angle they have changed it to make it easier and for better positioning

Yeah, and you'll have to cut your rims to match as well.

Yeah, and you'll have to cut your rims to match as well.

not to mention ur cassette. im sure they could overcome the strength issues by painting it camo.

...and the cut-out section of tyre will reduce rotational weight.

I wonder if the Speedplay flats run on the same no-bearings-just-pack-it-with-grease-after-every-ride theory as the Frog pedals....?
