Can somebody please give me the date for the you yangs DH race, i've heard people say that it's on the long weekend and i've heard people say that it's the weekend before long weekend??

The race is going held to be on both Saturday (30th) and Sunday (31st).
Saturday will bw registration and practice. You must register and have a number on your bike before you are allowed onto the track. Any rider on the track without a number will be DQ and not allowed to race on Sunday.

Shuttle buses will run both days and first aid will be in attendance for both days.

50 bucks to enter plus a 10 dollar day licence if you are not a MTBA member. MTBA and GMBC memberships will be available on the day. A senior membership is $90 and a junior membership is $75. This covers you for all MTBA sanctioned races for 12 months. If you take out a MTBA/GMBC membership you will not need to purchase a day licence.

As for the beer, we will see what we can do.

SHIT! only days i work are sat and sunday, i better be able to get out of work, i hate two day events when theres no where to stay and your on the other side of town, im still in though! Jennnings if honey isn't coming with us you can stay at dads place, about a 35 min drive TOPS to the track, but ill ring em now, who here is heading up, and if your from a while away where are you staying or are you battlers and gonne go up back up back?

Yer i would come up but i have to go away with the family it sucks the fat one but i'll prob still come up for a practice run when ever you guys head up.

The race is in the Stockyards, the same area as the cross country tracks. The best access is down Drysdales Road, Little River (the North side of the park) . Melways Key Map Page 11.
