what in the hell do you mean ? the illegal ones ? or lack of these days.......Wollongong guys definetly arent going to talk about them on the net.

if you mean trying to get a legal one, their are alot of people trying for it...just a matter of time, apparently their is a legal DH track at nowra a bit further down the coast

excessive amounts of riders riding them and doing stupid shit.

none are being pushed to be reopened...if we get a legal track it will be in a different location

Thats so true, until something legal comes up, its pretty much ride wherever you want, & hope you don't get busted being there!

I wouldn't call the 3 or 4 fully loaded vans/4wd's doing runs on the drift track yesterday discreet.

drift hasnt been closed....I think he meant they were still doing runs of the tracks which have been closed which is a damn stupid idea...either way

hmm...i can see somethin happenin.. ,15-20 riders shuttling up and down :? ...ive done the track... and that would be considered extremely obvious and as far as the location of it ..um.. dangerous :( .Yeah we can continue turnin up time & time again,..but then to be told after ya 2nd run.."u will have to leave", or finding out the f***ers have gone in on the weekend and stuffed the track(ie bulli) does tend to piss u off a bit!! :x
I have heard that they can do jack bout ya being there :? ....but c'mon ..what authority have we got??

More legally funded/supervised/organised Dh tracks please!!

Unfortunately the Drift is probably the most regularly shuttled track in the 'Gong at the moment.
I love doing shuttle runs myself but we need to mix it up with some all-day rides to take some of the heat off us - at least until the trail situation improves (fingers crossed). Don't be afraid to take your DH rig on a ride like this - it's good fun. :D
There are plenty of concealed tracks around the 'Gong, the only catch is they are not shuttle-able, or are not that shuttle friendly.
So get ya Camelbak out, grab some buddies and go exploring - you may be surprised at the rides you have! :wink:
