Hey guys,

Just thought I'd post this for you all to drool over. Just received delivery of this today. I'd say its close to one of the first one's in Aust apart from what the sponsored riders have got! It was only finished by Intense two weeks ago!!

I'll post more pics during the week once it is built up! Just waiting on a few crucial parts!! Can't wait... she's gonna fly!!!

Yeh, they sent the rear hub but forgot the axle to go with it and also forgot my Chris King Steelset. Also waiting on spokes so i can build wheels. Should have it running ready for runs on the weekend!! ...I HOPE!

By the way... anyone know where i can grab a cheap double bed. I want this thing in bed with me!

Gday Mate,
I thought you had gotten the V10?! I know this was the bike of your dreams and all... but  The Norco is still going, you can see me riding it here. (http://www.richiev.net/gallery/youyangsdh311004/index.php?img=350) Nice work on the M3!

Can I ask - why silver and not the usual red?

I would LOVE one of those, but it would likely be way beyond my the needs of my skills anyway.

^^^ There's your answer...

Most of us (including myself) can't justify half our purchases anyway. If you can get hold of it, why not! As long as you're having fun

Looks nice.

But i have to wonder why you didn't go the new V10. Same design, almost same weight, cheaper and most probably (given the reputation of the M1 cracking) the V10 would probably be stronger.

Anyway, looks good. Make sure to post some pics when she is built up :)

At last years interbike, the M3 was sporting a 5th Air Shock, but to keep the price down and the usability up, Intense are shipping them with Manitou SPV coil-overs!

Actually, it had the manitou evolver air shock, which is their proto shock which does everything a 6 way does, but air sprung instead of coil.

As shmity said, shock is still a prototype... not in production yet. Key word: yet!

You farkin lucky boy, right there is my ultimate frame. For this and next year anyway. Then someone will probably make something swankier and i'll drool over that (will take some doing) but till then WOW!!! soon as she's running deliver a full report on how she goes. Oh yeah can i borrow it?? Pleeease?

Im pretty damn sure that he bought a Norco Team Race complete bike. He flogged the frame off cheap to me, so that would mean the spec is Shivers etc, whatever comes stock.

Thats the sweetest frame I've seen in a long time.

The reason Ruges has gone for an M3 over a V10 is that there is only one other decent DH bike in his home town and it's a V10.....who wants 2nd V10 in town when he can claim first M3 in Oz....... thats my guess anyway.....

Ruges, I bet you won't win the 4X on that bike! Nice one to rape fencline with.

So smooth I almost slipped and fell on it. The silver looks damn good, but we'll need built up pics.

Who cares if you don't have all the parts yet? Oh yeah, you do... :)

Hey guys... Its gettin there!!! I put my new Manitou Dorado's on it today and she looks sweeeeeeet!! I should have the complete parts list tomorrow so ill be able to post pics very soon (depends how long i take to build the wheels!!) Does anyone know where i can get details on how you should set up the rear shock (like recommended sag etc.)?????? Unfortunately i cant make it to round #1 in Cairns, i have my last HSC exam next week! I wanna see you all at the Mountain-X round 3 in Armidale on the 4-5 December, its going to go off!!! (although, unfortunately i wont be riding the intense for this racing!)

Try www.tftunedshox.com

He is a pom, who does set-up work for many World Cup riders. There is plenty of information on his site. I have checked it out for my 5th element, and it also lists Manitou on the site, but I have not looked for that, but check it out.

awwww... the poor little critter.... :?

looks very nice. I'm still more of a red fan, even though its mega-common, but thats one hell of a nice frame. Built up I'm sure it will be even better.
