shit trev!
here is the translation:
Hello my friends,
On my fully pimpin Vario Skizo i am running 04 DJ2's. Unfortunately the forks only compress about 2-3 inches at most, in short they suck. I have noticed, that after having my bike inverted for a short period of time and then flipping it back right way up, my forks are springy and have better compression. My conclusion is that the oil in the reservoir has not had time to flow back and make them feel like a brick again. I think that they have been overfilled at some stage (though i don't know how, i got them new) and was wondering if i was to remove some of the oil, would this have the effect on my forks that i am looking for.
Thanks, and may all your rabbits eat carrots.

Nice work.
Yes, dropping the oil height will let you use more of your travel, and should help reduce the brick feeling of the DJ's - but make sure you don't go below the minimum oil height level. You can also go to a lower oil wt if needed, stock is 7.5wt, dropping to 5wt would ease it up.
The problem is, as you decrease oil weight and height, you will also decrease rebound damping. Judging by your post though ("wanting more springyness") you won't mind this too much - but do keep it in mind.
How much travel do your forks have?
You can find the min/max oil volumes here, just find your fork on the chart.

You'll probably want to drain them completely and refill with the exact amount of oil needed, unless someone can post the height the oil level needs to reach.
