I'm building a new Mavic UST wheel set for my Yeti DJ. The bike is used for 4X/DJ.

I don't know whether to go with the XM819 Disc or the EX823 rim.

The EX819 Disc is almost 200g lighter per rim then the EX823, but do you think the extra weight of the EX823 is worth it for extra strength?

What do you think?

XM819 Disc

Or

EX823

if your dirtjumping with it.....as well as 4x...mmm casage. i would say the 200g extra will be worth it. i have had 0 experience with either rim but if its only 200g than go for the stiffer/stronger one

Perhaps lighter one on the front and heavier on the rear. Rims may looked mismatched but your saving 200g in rotational weight on the front. Just an idea.
