nice Jared, good review. sorry bout the yelling in the last part, but i guess it got you over the line quicker. also, after the Tracey hannah pic, Ryan, have a read, 3rd paragraph, u'll see it. all though it ads to the fact he was nervous, doubling his words

I also have to give a mention to under 17 winner James Maltman, who creamed the rest of the field and won in a 6.05! That’s crazy fast! If anyone out there is looking to sponsor a young up and comer, this is your kid, he’s about 5’6” of pure pinner!
Just one bit of advice to the track markers, go easy on the stakes on the inside of turns, some were just too close and many people were missing quite a bit of skin on knuckles after a few runs.
Here is a pic of James following Masters' Winner Darren Graham thru the Kareela Crossing. Have a close look at his swingarm and then look at pic 2...

yeah thats not really something that you want shoved up in your swing arm.

isn't there some kinda common sense ruling that you don't use stakes as bunting holders. they can cause lots of damage to man and machine. but then again so can a tree.

IMO stakes are pretty good, cos usually if you smack them they'll give way, rather than a tree which will make you give way... yeah they (obviously) can cause some problems, but I'm inclined to think that they're better than most (reasonable) alternatives...?

At last years interschools my mate hit a stake which then threw him over the bars into another stake which broke his colar bone

i guess thats it's a little bit harder to combat the situation because thredbo has alot more open sections then most other tracks around the place.but still 30mm ploy pipe dose flex.
