Hey up. Ok, so I'm nearly there... One of the things I've overlooked for too long is the rear QR skewer. I'm fairly certain to go for a Hope unit, the question is.....
What colour?
Current thoughts are:
*green (chameleon)
*gold (bling)
*Black (subtle)
Anyone with a sugestion?

Get a black skewer, and get gold Ti bolts (kult) from www.ribbed.com.au .
That way the gold stays as "highlights" on the bike.

1) Go Shimano skewer, not hope.
2) Forget about the skewer and go find some nice English Girl. :)

Are you still here, or back in the mother land?
As for the bling, just buy a can of spray paint ;)
The green will not be the same shade and not match.
There is no (very little) black on your bike.
Has to be gold to keep with the theme.
1) Go Shimano skewer, not hopeDamn straight... a black Shimano one would be the one to go for, then maybe consider gold brake bolts for the caliper... but your bike is pretty "pimp/bling" (I hate those words in such a context) as is.
If i brought the 05 modal Norco Manik (dark red)
Would gold titiam all over screws look any good ?!?!?
ye and cost u 6$ per bolt
but i dont c the point in gold titanium, gold or naturaltitaniumlookssick, not the 2 together its a waste :P alloy gold ano orTinaturalfinish ;)

of course you would bend a cheap stock Deore skewer, especially doing street/huck riding as you like to do.
I've had the same Shimano XT skewer on my p3 for 2 years and it still grips in like nothing else to the dropouts.

About the only lever I've found that can trump Shimano ones is Mavics, they have just a tiny bit more bite, but I can't vouch for their durability as I haven't had the change to beat one about. High end aftermarket skewers are the biggest wank, unless you have to drop grams or blow your dollars, Shimano will be the best and most reliable option. All that is said coming from a gram-counting brand/image-concious wanker... :p yet I won't go past a Shimano skewer for doing the job properly.
