i was looking through another bike forum site and saw a job section, heading of link was JOBS and under where the description it said, Get your lazy ass employed here, could we possibly do this 2 get sum more peoples here with jobs so we can see more bikes at events etc? and just to help people out gettin employed

there have been worse ideas...
i can't actualy think of any at the moment, but there have been.
maybe just get people to post if y\they happen to have spare work laying around.

its useless, there are allready 3 big job websites about, seek.com.au and those other two. as well as the newspaper as kalem pointed out. get off your arse physcodh

Maybe if it was a bike industry specific section like the one on DNF it would be alright; it is targeting a specific audience after all.

Do we have the numbers to justify such a section?
It'd be hundreds of 15yr olds saying "I want a bike job, I can pull apart my own bike"
and the few shops that post on these forums would sit there and say "wtf, I am surrounded by monkeys"

yeah, i think the idea is sound. but if we were to weight that up against all the other things that we want to do to the site it sits pretty low on the scales...

Haha, I hate taking applications from kids. Just out of curiousity, how many mechs do you guys usually have at shops?
