there's a sizing chart on the santa cruz website
if that's any help at all

once you selected the bike
teres a sizing tab at the top of the page
click on that to have a look at sizing

i don't know if it's any good
but may help

It does sound too small, (without checking Santa Cruz website though - do that).

I've got an 2004 Bullit medium, I'm 5ft 8in, and weigh 85kgs, no idea what pounds. Its the right size for me - any smaller would be cramped.

But do check the website, if you want.

To me, sounds like you need a medium. ;)

find one the right size for you...it wil be worth the wait...great bikes.
there's a couple of mediums for sale in NSW and one in SA that i know of. check the trading post.

Definalty to small for you, mediums the way to go, it will be well worth the effort of finding one mate.

Dude I'm 5'10" 185lbs and I ride the Medium 17inch. This size is great for Freeride, Downhill & Trail. I wouldn't think anything smaller would be that
great.
