A huge thanks goes out to Sam and His Dad - lets not forget Sam's Girlfriend either - Kristy. She has been up there with Sam just as much.

I don't know if any one was aware but the computers and printers stuffed up in the timng tent. There was not much more that the Fatties could do.

All I heard were fantastic results on the track and transport.
( i just wish that i could have seen the track :()

i had a really good time on the weekend, the only thing that fucked it up was the whole waiting around thing u have come to expect from any race that is run by fatties, just seems to happen every meeting. thats fine for people who live close by but having presentations at the best part of 6 o'clock was a joke. sam u asked what could of been improved, this would of been the only thing.

now that ive had my sook, would like to thanks all those who helped build the mad track, special thanks to sam and his parents for letting us race there. it was really good to have a track that had some challenge to it. and it was great to have a track that didnt have just one main line, it was great to see there was a heap of track to work with. having it bunted all the way down was a nice touch and the painting of the rocks and so forth with the pink paint also was really cool. almost seemed to be racing overseas with such an organized track.

i hope to be able to race there again..

Ok, Here is my thank yous and stuff about the weekend.
I hope that everyone had a good weekend and enjoyed them selves. I was a little worried about how my track would hold up as this weekend was basicly the first time anyone has ridden it.. Before the weekend it had a total of 5 bikes down it for one test run. So the track was a virgin. It held out ok though considering the time frame that we had to get the whole event up and running. 4 weeks ago the track was just all in ben watkins and my heads... It came togeather ok for four sundays worth of work from nothing to a race venue... We even had to make the road to the top for transport! Thanks to everyone that helped make this happen. There are lots of people to thank and ill probably forget some (if i forget you, punch me next time i see you). Most thanks probably go to Ben Watkins. This guy is a machine.. He worked like a dog for 4 sundays straight to get the track sorted. Bens better half, Ally. Thanks for your help on the track and your help over the race weekend. Thanks to Juzzy for pushing things along in the organising stages, helping with track work, and general getting stuff sorted. Nathan, He helped with a heap of track work (he earned that gift voucher from tint a car that he won in the raffle. Lucky bugger I wanted it!!). All these guys helped with the race track and the transport road: Peter Horsh, Ash Cooman, Fod + Jess, Chef, Simon Trewella, Mike, Ben Randall, Womble, Matt. Huge thanks to my great girlfriend Kristy for helping me dig the track into the side of a hill every weekend. Even letting me spend Valentines day working on the track. Um, i think thats about it. Thanks to Amanda and the FTF crew. I think Amanda will have a few grey hairs after all the stress.. But its all done now. A really big thanks to everyone that makes these events happen! Thanks to everyone for taking a risk to travel to this new unknown race track. I know it was a fair old drive for most people. Hopefully you had a good enough time and will be back next time. Hopefully there will be a few new faces at the next race too!

Keep your ears and eyes peeled. Ill be having a few weeks too relax away from bikes. But then ill be starting to organise the next race. This first race was setup with less than a month to do it in. Lets see what I can organise with more time... Should be way better!
Cheers,
Sam
