Was at Jells park for a family doo yesterday and noticed a few people riding around with Maps.
Looked like an orienteering type of event. Saw a few on the way home.
Anybody know what event this was or who was running it?
Probably the VRA (Victorian Rogaining Association) Metro/Cyclogaine.

Didn't do it myself, but have done their events in the past.

They've got a series of events. I did the 6 hour Cyclic Navigator a couple of weeks ago. That was a buzz, with some great riding around the Wombat State Forest.

What is the MTB riding like at jells park?
Are there good trails there or is it all sealed crap?

nah, theres nothing really at jells park. i live in wheelers hill and its all 'sealed crap' as you put it. i go for a cruise through there with the girlfriend every now and then, but now even she thinks its boring compared to say lysterfield or something - shes getting the bug, we even 're-rode' a section on sunday, ie, 'that was fun, lets do it again!!!'
sorry for the thread hijack.
