I'm looking for a set of OVERSIZE bar and stem (short) combo for a PEELER with 888's.
From what I have seen first hand, the RACE FACE Diablous components are hot! But so to are the prices!
Kinda looking at spending in the $150 range for each.
I also like the looks of the KORE B1B stem, but can't find any local price for their products.

Not really interested in Truvantiv stuff (even though their good!)

Does any one have a recommendation for a good pimpin style set?
(Pimpin cause I can't ride for shit! So it may as well look good)

Any suggestions would be appreciated, Thanx in advance.

(put this thread in down hill section as I'd like DH'ers oppionions)

Have a look at this little number!

It's the new Thomson X4 50mm. BLING BLING!

I just got one for my Yeti DJ, looks AWESOME!

Its Verrry light (all hollow!) and stiff as!

Why go oversize? No advantage at all.

Anyway, i'm going to be running an x-lite stem and pro taper bar on my jump bike, and for dh i use an integrated stem and pro tapers.

I run Easton EA70 Monkeybars with the integrated stem. Perfect sweep and rise for me. You can save a bit of weight and cost with an integrated stem and dont have to worry about your bars not being straight after a minor off.

EDIT: Goddammit that Thompson stuff looks shit hot. *Bling bling*. Anyone want to pool and get be a birthday prsent?

Yeah I know there isn't an advantage - I read that thread, but just more appealing.
Pro tapers eh? I'll look em up

That THOMSON stem is sweet as Regan! PIMPIN !!
Might try and price it. Thanx heaps.

get some of the SIC stuff. Its awesome quality and very reasonably priced. Same stuff as the mad catz riders use and Aaron Chase. I run them, looks awesome and the rise and sweep are perfect. There is also a camo stem which looks pretty cool too if u want something like that but its only in standard.
Check it all out through this link then just click on bars/stems/pillars to see it all. prices too and you can buy directly from the site

Get some Eastern Bars, just got a set of 25.4 vice bars for my hardtail. They have a nice bend and good rise. Will get some for the dh as soon as I get some shims for the 888 stem.

Yeah they look the shit!
I had a good look at an Iron Horse WC today, and
if you want to change between 25.4 and 31.8 then the SIC LL is the way
to go.

Why is that?
