Im not sure how many people have used these bars before - i have been for the past year. They are awesome sweep and rise and feel incredibly comfortable - not to mention they are the lightest and strongest availible.

yeah they are a great bar, i have some, but "tell him he's dreamin" at that price you can get new protapers which are vertually the same.

Very Nice bars,
but $149 at the LBS.

maybe rethink the asking price, especially since they would have mounting marks.

Also are they 25.4 or 31.8?

They are 25.4.
The only mounting marks, which although there, are very minor & next to the grips where the brakes mount, there are no marks where the headset clamp is. Note they were only on the bike for about 2 hours when I first assembled it and I only rolled around the backyard to check everything felt OK, ie alignment etc as you would do before heading off on the trails ( I hope).
Obviously the $149 you quote is a special, as I have not been able to find them for under $175, so I thaught my price was pretty good.

They're $149 at my LBS too, with no discount.

$149 new is somewhat cheap. ~160-170 is normal markup. But then every shop is different.

In either case asking price is way off. I sold a 2 week old pair on ebay a few weeks back for $80.

$145 at my local before discount.

So are you interested in swaping them for a brand new set of 2inch pro tapers or not? Im in sydney as well.
