you can start racing at anytime and a day licence is all you require +entry fee :)

I'll be in Expert, those Elite guys are just so damn fast and i don't want to get owned/sandbag in sport.

yeah, looks to be good, any details about shuttling, or is it just going to be a long walk, byo van/ute/trailer or what. also, how many runs do we get (practice, race, whatever)

Ill b goin in Sporties, pretty sure its the usual deal for ourimah, that is:
sign up is from about 12
2 race runs
practice not too sure ( I normally do 1 or 2)
And last race it was BYO shuttle
But dont quote me on any of this, is just a rough guide from last race

You can just get a day licence I think thats about $10 or sumthing plus $8 to race. I think there is a class for youngsters there are a few younger lookin guys out there.

There is a little tent set up thing at the bottom carpark, you just rock up there adn sign up, and like i said before im pretty sure its byo shuttle.
If anyone knows the official low-down feel free to step in and let me know if im giving wrong information, like i said bfore, im just goin off wat happend last race.

yes, but you can buy a day license. And you can still race in u15s if you're 13 or 14, and u17s if you're 15 or 16, and u19s if you're 17 or 18.

f*ck you're keen mate. Ourimbah is an hour or so, by car, at 100km/h, up the freeway. Best of luck....

yeah...there is a train that goes up but the platform is to short! so you will probably have to jump onto the tracks!

Whats the deal with the track? is it similar to interschools in the way its run?

Im keen on coming and taking photos but wouldi be allowed to walk around the track???

And is it on Red Hill Forest Road?

Yeah you can walk the track and take fotos (as far as i know, there is plenty of peeps doin it in other races). And yes it is the red hill forest road There is usually a sign out the front aswell

Hey every one, jst posting down to see how you all did? I was there, the guy with the red oakley goggles, red TLD shirt and Blue D2, i was riding a 03 stinky with boxxers.
What times did yuo guys get? I got a 4.11 :( But i geuss thats ok as it was my VERY first DH race, or any race for that matter...
After my first run my shock bolt snapped, so i didnt get to have another run :( Well, just post down what class you were in and what time you got! Im pretty intrested to see :D

i crashed on my first run and still did better than my second run which i was so pooped i sat down most of the way...
and luckily the most embarrasing moment didnt happen to me!!!....i saw a kid (not naming him) go over the bars at the rollin at the start!
Dam the tracks awsome now so much faster.

It was a good day, I didn't race but everyone looked like they were riding well. Who got the best time of the day and what was it? I'm guessing it was brock but anyway what was it?

2 times i went flying off the back of that berm after the drop near the start luckily only one of the times was in my race run..
my second run felt terrible. I made countless mistakes. Didn't even want to look at my time until someone informed me that i won in expert class.
So i was pretty pleased. But disappointed at the same time because i could have done it faster.
I need to get fitter.
well 3min48sec was ok

Back to racing, i finally had a clean run after the last few year's rounds, it wasn't fast and it sure as hell wasn't pretty, but at least i got down no crashes. Next time if i pedal i expect to lop a lot more time off.
