If your talking about whipstick gully There is the track the starts and goes down onto the pub side of the hill. from where this statrs at the top you can get back onto the fire roads and keep going up to the top of the other hill. sounds abit ruff but just look around and go up. theres a track just after the peak of this hill on the right hand side. Its pretty sweet, watch out for the rangers though they can be a bit nasty.

Hay Guys,
I have been told about these tracks and always wanted to ride them but never been there!
Where are they??? Could you please give me a Melway Reference or some directions...
Id love to ride these tracks...
Cheers James :)
Any of you blokes ride a green da bomb moab up that way?
Tracks fairly run down and needs some work. Might head up there for some work, but yeah the rangers aren't exactly happy about it.
And if you ride the track make sure you roll it at a slower pace first or walk it as they put massive piles of rocks and logs on the track. And well on one section its on the other side of a mound so you don't see them until its too late.

The ranger has stated he will FINE any rider caught in that area and he followed us down to our car and wrote down our number plate last time we were there and said if we went back, we'd get the max $500 fine. It has some good trails there, but your not doing yourself or mountain biking any favours by riding there. Im not trying to piss and moan at you, but just think about it hey.

me and my mates ride there just about every w/e and we've only ever seen the ranger once a few years ago and he just waved and drove on and didn't say a thing.

last weekend when i was there just unpacking the bikes from the car, a female ranger drove up and simply mentioned that we can not go on any walking trails and just to stick to the roads. We acknowledged her and said that was cool.
Though funny thing was that she had a big smile on her face the whole time, probally knowing exactly what we were up to, she was very easy going.
Me and my mates went there about 6 months ago. The ranges simply said the same thing to us as they did to ben, but they wanted to fine us be we just said we had been riding the fire trails!
