Round #4 King of Ballarat DH dates set
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Though it will not please all, the date for round 4 has been set for 27th of March....the week after Eildon...the week before Vic School Holidays....
Yes, Easter....
Sorry "God Botherers" and "Happy Clappers", (no offence intended, so spare me the hate mail), but thats the best date we can come up with....anyway, it's not 'work' unless you pedal, right?.
Tracks to be decided at the moment, make sure to vote in the poll in "downhill" as we are planning to run 'by popular demand' if the combo is feasable.
keep an eye on www.clubmud.com.au for more info.
Practice and running will be regular format...unofficial prac Sat PM (closed AM to bunt), prac Sun AM, racing from around 11-12ish.
Tracks open 24/7 generally, so get out there, like you all have been over the last few weekends.

No yet, sorry my friend, working on it...but for what it is worth, the tracks are more like 4x/biker cross than traditional DH. We are out every weekend there, so head on up for a look before the race...you won't be disappointed.
Bell me on 0408820237 if you want to hook up for a ride.
Same goes for all.

Yeah sorry dude, it has partly to do with the 3 track thing. if we get a big turn out, we would never get through the tracks in daylight. I don't have to travel far, but packing up takes a couple of hours and is dangerous in the dark. I reckon you need to come up on Saturday, which I know is sometimes hard too, but the best I can suggest.
Hope to keep seeing you at the events. Thanks for your support and feedback.

Yeah its a dill of a pickle...we need to push the Saturday prac or we will keep getting people racing on Sunday without a decent practice. We are thinking of holdind a race over a long weekend in the future...2 days racing, 8 different tracks...interested anyone?

yeah moorey.
i know all about the no practice thing
the second race of this series i raced 2 of the tracks blind without ever seeing them and the other track i had to remember from the previous race.
im an appretince chef and only just manage to scam sundays off to race.
if it was held over a long weekend ide have zero chance of even making it up for race day.
im spewin that i doubt ill make it up for the next race, held over easter weekend.
enough wingin.
i love the tracks and i will always enjoy coming and riding your tracks

I personally like the idea of 2 days racing with 8 different tracks.
I have only raced once at King of Ballarat (spectated a few times) and thoroughly enjoyed it. The 3 different short tracks is good as it mixes things up and the riders get a bit of a break in between tracks to watch others (ie. elites). Making a proper/official full weekend of racing would be good. I'd definately do my best to make it for that event.

Keep an ear out...It will be a magical event when it happens, to be sure. Anyone who got 8 clean runs could surely book a spot on the podium.
C U there

i would do it as well. it would be awesome fun.
I'll be heading out for a race even though i have only just started to ride yesterday after me crash at nerrina just under 2 months ago which ended up in not a extremely serious broken ankle but the crutches and plaster hopfully will never go back on my legs.
Anyway it should be a great 2 days riding. Club Mud always put up a good race and ill be there no matter what!!

I tore off big toenail on sat, can't wear a shoe. Eildon seriously in doubt, 1 in 20 chance of riding, and Nerina could be iffy depending if I can walk and wear shoe by then.

Answered in order (of sequence, not stooopidity =->):
- See http://forums.farkin.net/showthread.php?t=26088
-Asking wrong guy, I usually finish last
-Yes, big ones
-Lots
-Only if you are a gay homo riding and orange sinister with 66's
-Yes, and maybe more pro's
-Yes, but I still beat him by 16 seconds at Nationals
-A line with some time keepers]
-Too early...still dark red
Does that answer all of your questions, Beaker?

Sounds like it'll be good. I hopefully will be racing after coming off again bad at Eildon. I should get you'st to coming off by now. I have to wash off the blood on my bike.
I should be there for a awsome weekend at Nerrina.
