yer its 1059, the stp frame has the best geometry. i only got the stp2 coz i cant afford the stp1, but i prefer the grey matt colour of the stp2

looks like its got some mighty potential there mate!

your fork choice sounds interesting thou.. why the splice? perhaps save a bit more and go with a stance flow/static?

anyway will be interested to see how this pans out. keep it up mate :D

hey what size is your stp2??

i want to buy a 13.5 frame and replace my 15 (which is 14.5) frame..

bing bong
10-03-2005, 06:43 PM
yer its 13.5, its the best size, 14.5 would be betta if you were like almost 7 foot but im almost 6 and this is a great size, the geometry is the best as well

 Does this mean some-one running a 21" sized bike should be about 14 foot
Its only an inch.. it hardly makes a difference, having ridden 13.5 and 14.5 there is hardly any difference in feel.

bing bong
10-03-2005, 07:11 PM
no but usually the bigger the person the bigger the bike, unless your a bmx ridder coz its easier to move a smaller frame around which means easier to do tricks

i agree,

ive ridden both sizes and 13.5 feels a lot different.. its little things like that which can make a lot of difference. its got a shorter wheel base,, feels more agile at slow speeds.. im thinking the 14.5 would feel better at high speed..

bing bong
13-03-2005, 08:48 AM
yer that too, i was ridding down a hill yesterday and i was gettin death wobbles :( but i slowed down, and i think if you had the 14.5 you wouldnt get it as much, i was prob goin like 20km, i was keeping up with the cars:)

well, the stp2's have actually dropped to 700$ because the factory made too many of them. thats the reason three people at my school have em.
