These new forks have really bad topout, bunyhopping sounds really bad.
The damping is fine, the air pressure is around 150psi.
What else could it be?? Oil level? But it seems from the manual that it is a closd cartridge system?
Please help :D

Yeah they make a pretty gnarly noise topping out if you don't have the rebound set correctly. In my experience they like a fair amount of preload and a fair bit of rebound and not a lot of compression damping (100 psi), that's what seems to work best for me.

The topping out doesn't actually do any damage from reports it's just a disturbing noise. Check out www.mtbr.com (http://www.mtbr.com) and see what people say about the topping out.

Greg, I live in Toowoomba and have the same forks, and thus the same problem you have. Maybe sometime if you haven't fixed them I can help you out, maybe the next meet for the club?

I think I will pull them down eventually, I don't want to slow the rebound as I like them fairly fast.
Might Modd them to include a better top out elastomer or negative spring I reckon.
Yeh Rocket, talk to you tomorow night eh? :)
