Hey Guys,

Just a quick question about hubs. Basically Im after any opinions on the Specialized Stout hubs. In specific, Specialized Stout disc, 36 hole, cartridge bearings, 20mm alloy thru-axle. And : Specialized Stout 36h, bolt-on axle. Obviously front and rear respectively. Are these hubs just an inmade cheapy? Or are they a decent hub? The bike they will be going on is top spec, so I am basically wondering if they'll let the team down. Actual experienced input would be sweet, ie. reliablity, maintenance issues and general opinions.

Cheers guys,

Isaac

they are crap buy ck hubs (you know you want to).......oh yer you gotta get a set of them as well. nah they should be fine. ride them till they die. which should take a while.....unless your daver or ride_hard199. than get some new ones. its good that they are a sealed hub as well which will save you heaps of trouble! so yeah keep em i say. unless you got some spare money floating around and nothing better to spend it on.,

I've had a Stout front 20mm hub for 3 and a half years and it's been just fine, no issues at all. I think they are a great OEM spec.
