hi nicho.
it's outside your 20km radius, but glenrock in newcastle is pretty fun. lots of trails in small area. laots of dh hill runs and maybe the largest ramp style gap i've seen.......i ain't jumping it! some north shore hidden around. good fun. easy to find.

Largest ramp style jump?? Northshore? id like to know where they are, because the jumps up there are all pretty small, and the only northshore up there other than the small bridges over creeks was torn down about a year ago.

Yeah, I'm going down there on Friday - my oldies have a house out at Winda Woppa.
I took my bike down last year and there's virtually nothing within riding distance in terms of jumps or DH/freeride tracks or anything (in fact pretty much no hills in the area).
The only thing that was vaguely fun was jumping the embankment at the footy oval, or riding off steps in Tea Gardens (Woooooo!!!).
I'm pretty sure there'd be a fair bit of ridable single track/firetrail stuff within 1 hr drive (Myall Lakes NP, Barrington Tops, Glenrock etc.) and even just off the road heading outta town, given how much bushland is around.
I don't think there's much of the DH/Freeride/DJ stuff around, mostly cos there's noone there most of the year to build, if anyone even rides.

Im thinkin mabey he means the massive gap that you ride down gunclub road and hang a right to hit. It was knocked over a fair while back now.
Ive been to teagardens/hawks nest a few times and never saw anything rideable there.
For the dude going to anna bay. Ive got a mate who lives there and Ive been riding there once before. There is a small bmx sort of track along with one big double with a dirt quarter after it near by. Probably worth checking out if that floats your boat.
