Bropia virus

hey i was just wandering if any1 eles has got this Bropia virus or nows how to get rid off it. Its the one from msn that every1s been sending around. Once its on the computer it wont let you use any of the virus or security programs. and you cant search google or anything like that on the computer it closes the window if you search or do anything to do with virus or msn. Ive got some of the Bropia virus deletion programs that are soppose to delete it.......... but when i open them they just close straight away. so any suggestions or help would be great.

if you can not open a virus scanner/buster, or the download to repair the file.... to me, your only option would be to format your harddrive??

Does this have hot keys in the file name? that is the one i got through msn. If this is the one just do a search for "hot keys" and delete it.

im not sure if this is the same one, but if they sent it to u on msn just go into recived files and delete it. thats what i did and it works fine now.

I've had a couple of guys keep on trying to send me either a file with "interesting" names or a link to some "earthlink" website lately... Glad I smelt a rat...

Next time, question before you accept anything.:)

yeah well the way i got it pretty shor is someone gave me a link to a website and it turned out the website was the virus.

yeah have a look at www.sophos.com (http://www.sophos.com) they have all the virus, worm, etc... info you need about viruses, their descriptions and how to remove them...
