Wall Unit (Year12). My major Project, I was the only one in the class to actually meet the requirements and get mine finished! Cost me about $200 in materials and similar things at furniture stores cost at least $700-800, Even more if you got Ikea! I'm quite pleased! :D

I made a spatula (Yeah it was like fully sick and took a whole 2 lessons to design and make). A box for storing DVD's with a nice swinging door and dove tail joins.
They are the only wood work ones I've made but Ihave also made a metal candle stick holder and a metal/wood trivet in the shape of a turtle which came out really well.

among other things i made a coat hanger that is incredibly impressive in the joint department. i also made quite an impressive dartboard cabnet, so impressive that my dropkick teacher decided to take it to a subject selection night for yr7 kids...where he promptly lost it. now he was fairly slow at projects so it took as a good 6 months to make... only one day to lose.

Nah, not looking as making it into a career, although the pay would be good. I'm going into IT instead.
It's more of a spare time thing...thats if I have spare time. It was good back in the school days having access to brilliant tools such as drop-down mitre circular saws worth $3k, Planes that you can feed timber 3feet wide through and many other top end machines. At home I only have a cheapo Arlec mitre saw and a nice $400 Panasonic Cordless drill...still not adequate to make what I did at school, but it's a start :D

Let me see, A clock, a coffee table for my mum, a 6' x 3' bookcase, and my personal favourite was the rocking chair for my mum. It took forever cause everything had to be turned.

Nice wall unit dmwill. Adjustable shelves on the left hand part would come in handy too.
I made a coffee table and a honey dipper (back in year 10). Not very prolific :o The honey dipper head was so big (cos I couldn't get the fine grooves done on the lathe without making the chunk of wood fly across the room) so it would get about half a jar of honey with each dip :p That's if it fit in the jar at all
Since then I've made stretcher frames for canvasses when I was at art school which were a bit more successful. My dad gave me a drop saw for my birthday once (don't know why  ) but it came in handy for uni.

i made the scal model of a house in my VET building and construction in the 2nd year o the course, (we had to design it from scratch, and do all the plans, ect, then build it)
i built the saw horse in the irst year of the course (you can just see it infront of the car)
and i built the bed head for Design Tech 3&4 last year, but never got around to finishing it. its got merbau slats, pine rails (top and botom) and cedar legs. and it was all made from timber found on a worksite, so it was all recycled. now it gets stuff put on it, and holds my extension leads...
oh, and i made that strange creation of a dragster/lowrider in systems 1&2 lastyear, and havnt used it since
