Very sexy - very!! (ignoring the mechs ;) )
With those choice forks, I'd be tempted to go a 'widget #2' to lift the BB up again.

What's with the 5th element stickers if you dont have a 5th? I also think that someone should politely let you know it's spelt "Hayes".
Edit: That's not a shorty stem either.

I would have thought those forks would raise the BB up in the first place.

he means lift it up to steepen the head angle

Thanks lotec
I'd be guessing you have a head angle of 63~64deg(keen eye hey?)
widget #2 lifts the BB, steepening the head angle back to about 65deg - this will you notuce - big time!!
Just ignore me if like slack head angle. ;)

i don't mind the head angle but i was thinking about the widget two in the near future. those sticers are yours lotec thats why i have them buddy;) , and im sorry it is a azonic ORC back in the day when i got it, it was the shorty of the azonic stems.... lol i got it in 98
Nice looking ride there, although those rims are looking kind of average. You'll be set when the mag30's and hydro's go on it. Have fun on it! ;)

Bilt stem, atomlab aircorp, easton if you wanna spend that mmuch, azonic short deelux if you dont take it off often, or go a Amoeba scud front end, for $175 you get oversize stem, bars and a headlock, good value for money there :D also have grips in there too, or for 109.95 you get the amoeba borla, which is standard size bar and stem with a headlock and grips in there too

verry verry nice
Monsters on a race frame? aah well, looks OK i guess..It's what was on them when Avanti displayed the bike back in 98 or whatever, complete with carbon fibre moto-style seat/mudguard. Looks good for sure, but damn it must be heavy.

I dont think the d8 frame is actually that heavy, got some scales Rik? Sure its not that bad. As for this bike- I think you need a longer widget ;)
Just weighed mine... 5kg without a shock.
Combine that with SMO rims f+r (almost a kilo each!), cromo cranks and a monster, surely it has to be in the 23-25kg range

Gee, thought they were lighter. Mine feels reasonable built up- no smo or monsters though :P

THRILLHOUSE

That photo is pretty old we took them at my house ages ago.
The bike now has a rear mag30 soon to be followed by a front mag 30. And he now runs Brand new hays hfx9's (i think). Also runs a "Shimano RX 100" deraliuure i had lying around in my garage. Oh and a new Azonic stem
Whatever he runs its damn sexy i know that.
But yeah it is heavy, can just lift it
