Since Dom posted his review, here is mine.

Music: I’ve had this discussion with Clay many times already – no use beating a dead horse. You damn know some people are always going to complain about the music. I personally like your selection of music – awesome variety. Some songs were better than others, but for the most part it went really well with the footage.

Footage: Clay is becoming a pro at this! Most of those big budget movies use more than one camera, lines, etc… I think Clay did a great job at picking out the sweet spots on the courses. He also did a great job with the zoom ins and zoom outs – most of the time this is one area people lack at. The only section that I recall being a tad repetitive is lopes hitting that little rhythm section over and over – but then realized that he never hit it the same way.....cool.

Rider interview: AWESOME – that is all I have to say. That was so flippin’ good. There is NOTHING cooler than hearing the rider’s opinions!!!! WAY TO GET IT DONE CLAY!! And the fact that he inserted those bits right before each chapter/race was nice. + he split them up for DH and DS/4x. I still have a smile on my face from some of John K’s comments! Some of the cussing might upset some parents – but it juts makes it “pure”. Cutting that out would be like speeding or slowing down footage ;o) God that was awesome…

Format:
- Chronological order +1
- Event name right before footage starts +1
- Nice soft font to identify riders +1, which was displayed just long enough to read, but not too long to distract +1
- Always had the name of the people getting interviewed even if they were shown previously +1
- didn’t Display the soundtrack name during the movie +20 (I don’t like that personally)
- No MX +20
- No BMX/street…all dirt +100
- Chapter pages with animated thumbnails + 1 (too bad you can’t click on them)
- split screen with video at the bottom for the bonus selection screen +1
- you get the point…Synopsis passed this test with stellar ratings.

Editing: nice...no more scratching ;o) Excellent.

Length of the movie was good – I can’t believe some people were saying it was too long. Clay also used just the right amount of “filler”. Synopsis is all about riding…and that is how I like it! Reason why I kindda liked True North – it was ALL riding.

I personally think Synopsis might be the new benchmark - I might be bias since it's been so long since I've watched a new movie (Earthed, Collective, etc... all have been out for a while now and I haven't received Earthed 2 yet) - but Synopsis made a first impression like no other movie has - other than maybe Transcontinental, but that is a long time ago. But it’s definitely on my top 3 movie list

Funny thing…the sound is perfect when I play it on my Laptop, which is how I watched it the first time. Then I noticed the sound problems when watching it in a proper DVD player – it was hard to hear the riders.

I still have mental images of Jared doing the ‘monkey” at the end before hitting that freeride stunt!! RICH!

Just picked up a copy from FOR THE RIDERS this arvo absolutely farkin awesome heaps and heaps of aussie rider footage including graves, hill, rennie, atkinson, strom, kirkaldie. For a US made flick there was more aussie riders than yanks

What else could you say but HOLY SHIT, overall this thing was insane, nice and long, awesome footage covering EVERYTHING, the interviews were insane music was sweet and went really well with the clips. I've got nothing but praise for it, i can understand why AMB gave it 10/10.

IMO better than earthed. Two best scenes were the lopes/graves double up, one after another, best 2 scenes of all. And the "hucker wannabee" at the end was the funniest thing i've seen, alex will understand if he sees it.

Go buy it!

Awesome flick. Up there with Earthed 2 for this year. Good to see some sweet Norba racing and the pros views on tracks and each other. Nice one!

Footage: Slo-mo stuff is great, unfortunately the normal speed footage suffers from an increased speed, especially the first several chapters.
Even motos don't go that fast...signs to look for are people unnaturally turning their heads to watch the action and the unnatural flutter of riders jerseys and track bunting.
Frustrating to watch and makes you realize that earthed 1/2 race footage is normal speed.
The 1 camera angle zoom in/out gets too you over 2hrs, as well as the high concentration of 4x footage.
Rider interview sound too low or another way to put it, the music had to much volume over the interviews
Colours were over saturated...had to adjust my TV's settings.

Music: Good, mix of R&B, rock etc to suit most scenes....but music is rather personal isn't it.............

Rating: The "Too Fast" normal speed footage & too much 4x didn't do it for me 5/10

i didnt even get to finish watching this movie, i got up and went out side to ride it was so boring. to me a mtb movie should be interesting enough to be able to sit down for the whole movie, then at the end you should be all pumped to go out for a ride.

Music: to start with, in my opinion there was almost no variety. it was all grunge, all the songs sounded about the same.

Footage: the footage Clay used was all the same aswell. there was almost no difficult sections in the movie. most of the footage was just 4x, and pedalling.

Editing: not much thought put into it.

this movie lacks variety, needs better footage.
but dont take my opinion i had only watched about half of it, because it got so boring.

rating: worste mtb movie i have watched. dont buy it.

riding: too much 4x. way tooo much 4x.

footage: some good shots, but slo mo everytime someone looked back was fucking annoying, and most of the shots were the same, on, and on. clay, its a good thing your trying to do, but theres no need to cover every moto of the 4x events.

editing: If you are shooting a lot from one location, try to spread the footage a bit. needs more cariety.

Overall, not grat IMO. buy Earthed 2.
