Normal bike racks have to have a towbar to attach to your car. If your car has a towbar then it shouldn't be a problem. Other than that, take the bake wheel off, and the handle bars and see how it goes fitting in your car. just my 2 cents worth. If you search through some of the threads there was one a couple of weeks ago about a bike carrying system that goes on the back of your car. I just can't remember the name.

Hey Ham,
Have a search on these forums, there is a number of methods that have been covered. Although I didn't pay much attention to the threads (as I have a wagon and tow-bar/ball), from memory there is a system that would suit you by a company called Thule i think. Just have a browse I think there have been quite a number of threads now and i'm sure you'll find what your after.

Ham,

you can probably try strap on bike racks...these are quite inexpensive and stable (if you get the good ones). Easy to put on and doesn't mark the car..

With the rx-7, you probably have a rear spoiler...The SARIS BONES is a great rack and clears spoilers....Do a search on internet and check it out!

Yea, Thule make some strap on bike racks. Not very expensive too from memory ($200?). Friend got one a few days ago, gonna test it this weekend by going to You Yangs :D

2 reliable options for u 2 try.
1 as mentioned is Thule roof rack systems or what i believe is the better option is the all Aussie - Rhino Roof racks in Rydelmere(Sydney) 9638 4744. If they cannot help there is not much left.
