An issue I can see with Rando's bike is that the new shock placement may be prone to get dirt, mud, rocks from the front wheel in the coil of the rear shock spring. If this is a prototype, perhaps it may come with some type of guard.

However the Maestro platform is meant to be superior to the old renault sport designs so it should be something else.

That cradel for the lower shock mount looks a bit exposed down there too. Rock + frame + full weight of rider could get nasty. Guess its not as much of an issue compared with say, a street bike though.

i no a guy who has one of randos proto's and to be honest i think tis a beef cake and its wayyyyy too big for him lol but other wise its sick, but its been a bit threshed by rando himself so when this guy got it there were a few problems but they r all sweet now so in conclusion its a sweet bike

maybe it is randos old, low TT'ed bike your mate has. I doubt he'd be selling a prototyped rig before designs and an official announcement would be made to the public.
