Hey, ive got an 04 enduro wif DJ 2's nd i dont like them so im think of some new forks nd i really like the fox 36ers. So i was think of buying a pair in like 2 weeks but im not sure if they will suit my bike for all types of freeride except for huge drops.

Any segustions on wat could go wrong or maybe some other forks. thanks.

The fox 36 should work mint, it's crown to axle length is 538mm I believe on the Fox 36, if you have 150mm DJ2's, then your DJ2's are about 538 anyway, otherwise if they are 130mm versions 518, shouldn't make much difference,

the biggest difference will be loosing around 2lbs on your front end!!

Keep in mind they are a Air/Oil fork.. they do not have coil springs.

Kind regards

yeah thanks i knew that they did not have coil springs. and the weight diference was wat i liked bout them most.

i have 130 mm Dj 2's....didnt think there would be much dif in length

Wate up, arn't yours 150 Kyle?...Personally I reckon theyde be fine on your enduro, and the fox forks are always a pleasure to ride.

Whats wrong with your DJ2's? its not as if you've really exceeded their strength or travel yet.............

Oh and another thing, I think it might put undue stress on the headtube, that old enduro of mine has a really thin headtube, remember, its an endurance/4x orientated bike.

Yeh my biggest gripe would be putting up with the Air Sprung feel.

However.. I shouldn't gripe because i ain't tried those particular.

but in general air sprung is not as nice as coils.

we will wait to hear hey!!

i'vr got 36's on my 05 enduro pro (stock) they feel ok. they feel the same as fox tallas just with a 20mm axle.
you should check stock....i understand fox is having trouble supplying.

for me, 20mm axle is more important than weight. this is the first air fork i have ridden. it feels 'tinny' and 'cheap' compared to z1 bombers. i run them hard and today i think i detected the right leg sagging more than the left. this is a problem when the 'spring' is in 1 leg only. (RIP Psylos) with the bombers, you have a spring in each leg.

all in all i love the fork for trails with a few drops thrown in but i'm not looking to replace the forks on my hardtail witht them.

no way they are hard enough already(which u already know). and i want more of a DH fork. and they will prob be betta for jumping aswell because i can adjust them from 110-150 nd they are 2 lbs lighter.not to mention the price on the enduro will go up for when i buy a full DH bike.

It would be good to have that adjustabilty, like 4X to light freeride...but I think in the meen time, save your dosh for either that Dh bike you've been wanting, or use the money to fix all the shit you break.

Yeah im not working full hours at work at the moment soooo i cant get the money by the end of these school holidays, so im just gettin enough money to fix all the stuff that isnt currently working in my drive train and crap and putting the rest in the bank incase of an emergency.
