Photo file size

For putting photos on PHAT SNAPS how do u make the file size small enough.
I tried but they were 700kb and only went down 2 600kb. I t says they need 2 be 300kb.

do you have photoshop? if you do, go to help> resize wizard> online> 640X480.


then when you save it as a jpeg, save it as a lower quality (i find around 8 works well) and voila! smaller pics.
if you don't i'm sure you can find an image resizer off the net somewhere. or just upload it to a free photo server and use that. (eg. image shack or photo shack (i forget))

Well it is just easier to make the file a bitmap image which can shorten a 504kb file to a managable 88kb..You may have to sacrifice some quality but overall its a good quick fix :)
