What a rad day of racing...track was gnarly and hell chewed up by the end of proceedings. Some of the hardest spills I've seen in person went down on that steep switchbacks, with some hilarious multi-rider pileups, 30 second gaps really weren't long enough.

Rawest move of the day that I caught was Tim McCullough from fortheriders.com getting two-riders-wide to pass some lap traffic while hitting the rock / pallet rolldown in his qualifying run, what a fucking pinner.

I couldn't race because I had knee surgery 2 weeks ago and I believe me, I was spewing. My girlfriend, Pip, raced downhill for the first time though and loved it which was pretty fucking cool. Anyway, here are some snaps of the days action:

hehee yeah that was me, being overtaken HAHA. I hear TRACK so i tried to pull over and let him round. Juuuust started to go over the edge as he passed me.

Awesome race, sick track, blown out - i loved it. Congrats to the track builders, you lads did an awesome job.
