forks wont brake your bike very effectively, you should try some of these instead - http://www.hopetech.com/products/hyd_09.htm

Take it to PM kiddies. No one cares.

you run the risk of snapping the head tube off, but the drop off triples arent a heavy fork, so there is a smaller risk compared to running something like a SuperT or slider. these forks are a little stronger and arent going to flex as easily.
the only small gain you will get for running a triple clamp fork is flex resistance. you will lose your turning circle, your ability to bar spin and it may change the head angle, causing a raked out feel.
as Naz has so nicely demonstrated with his photos, running triple clamps (in this case it looks like an 01/02 junior T) the end result is snappage...
if you are a DJ rider, then i guess triples are just going to add weight and inconvenience to your style.
for the two fools that think its "h.cor" to flat land it off a 12 stair set, then good luck to you... allow me to quickly demonstrate the 5 key destructive areas on your bikes...
rims will flatspot/crack.
bottom bracket will loosen/strip, even worse if they are square taper
your forks internals will pack up and die
you are going to stress the welds at all major junctions
and for the knob who did it on a dually, youll blow out your rear damping circuit in no time...

if no-ones gonna answer the guys question then i will,
the fact is havin triples on a hardie can make it snap but the chances are slim, unless you like to huck to flat which is not covered in most waranties.

03 125s have a history of snapping off headtubes with any fork.
I wouldnt even touch the frame now with a ten foot pole, and I used to own one.

the fact is that whether or not you wanna put dual crown forks on the hardtail depends solely on the frame. You can't generalise and say that the chances are slim of it breaking. 03 One25's have nothing in the way of gussetting around the head tube area, so unless you wanna be sending it of to grip in 6 months time to get your head tube reattached to your frame, i'd probably stick to single crown folks on a frame like that.
If you're that keen to put triple clamp forks on a frame though, it might be wise to sell your frame and get something designed for the task (ie. .243 or banshee or such), as i believe you might be able to sell your frame for more when it's in one piece rather than in two ;)
Basically its a stupid thing to do, the only things where having dualcrowns on a hardtail is an advantage are downhill and hucking, both of which would snap youre frame if you had dualcrowns on it. For anything else singlecrowns are better anyway, so dont bother.

i know 2 people that have torn headtubes off '03 125s and another two who have cracked them, only one out of these 4 people (naz) was running dcs, teh others were all riding short travel singlecrown forks, IMO i owuld feel unsafe just bolting a set or tripple clamps on, let alone riding the bike with them on there...

what he said.
I will also put in a vote for Really Bad Idea.
It doesn't matter whether you're on a Huffy or a .243 - landing to flat will kill something eventually.

...and don't huck to flat. You'll just BREAK your bike.

yeah if you want a hardtail that will take tripple clamps then i would say sell your norco amd get a banshi morphine frame or something simmilar. Also i would be looking at forks such as junior 2's 170 mill or like you said dropp offs of your goingto be sticking them on a hard tail.

true, but you were busting axles and stuff.
Not to mention the whole front axle debacle.

na, no frame is unbreakable.. some are just harder to break than others..

Why exactly do you want to get these drop offs? Don't assume that you're improving your bike, simply because the forks have more crowns on them. What forks have you got on your bike now... I'm guessing Dirt Jumper 2 or 3?
