nah just kidding i have beenputting off the event for three months and today i thought i d step it up a bit ..
anyways i did that big drop and i loved it ....

oh and in case you wonder about the title (rik and squid would know what i m talking about)

the run is a bit sketchy (rocks and roots) in fact it put off side a bit when i landed but it was all good.
the down ramp is really screwed up but meh i don t care ....anymore

yeah the one next to it is ok nothing special about it really.....i prefer the roll down on the left of it really ...

Hey mate well done, that's an awesome effort..Did you roll off the north shore just before it or did you have to put in a few pedals ??
I heard someone put in a few pedal strokes and over shot the landing into the bush ?? Wasn't me, I swear :)
I've done the pallette drop a few times now, and stared at the big one, but just havn't come around to throwing my self of it yet :(

Ive heard from guys that have done it that you take 2 good pedals before the northshore, then when u hit the bottom of the north shore you really pump until the take off and that should give u enough speed...... but dont go and kill urself using my advice wait for someone that has done it to agree with me or tell u otherwise

well i go from way before the north shore just to feel comfortable and then just roll all the way from the beginning of the northshore.
When i did it the first time i had no one to tell me how to hit it nor what speed i should launch it off. So use natural instinct mate everyone is different.

just dont overshoot it or case it something pretty bad could happen, make sure you have good control of your bike in the air .

oh yeah and pray for your bike to hold on. by the way the lil palette drop next to it is nothing like it at all, that s piss easy lol...just kidding make

yeah i thought about it but the landing is really tight and i think i d like have my hands on the bars...
i d love to pull that trick off drops though, i ll start on something a bit smaller i think..

i love that trick though i reckon it s one of the most impressives ones with backflip, no footer can cans one hand, 360 x ups and all ..

I have video of a Bowen doing a one hander off it so there's definately
time. I had 3 other guys hittin it over and over on the same day a couple even completely missed the landing after hitting it too fast, but still made it.
2 of them had never even been to Lizard before. They just rode off it as soon as they got there.
It's amazing what people will do when you pull a camera out.

Saw it done on Hardtail Saturday afternoon. some dude on a khs ht just rode straight off it. straight after his mate on a stinky dee. no stop and psych up or anything. absolutely crazy. I'll post up a really crappy quality vid when I get home if you want.
