NSW State Series Rnd 2 Change of Venue

We are currently having a change of venue for Round 2 of the NSW State Series. I received the following Email the other day;
"We have just completed a committee meeting for our club and the committee have agreed that we will not be able to stage the 2nd round of the NSW state XC series."
Wednesday an announcement will be made as to the site of this round.

kempsey has two xc tracks no1 which is fun and enjoyable same track that we run our 4 +6 HOUR races on last year no2 will be hard and hilly what do yas want post and let us no GAVEN KMORC

prac sat race sun all classes this race was to be cancelled we are helping out by having this race at last moments notice more info next week same dates as ourimbah

It is poor form to cancel a state round without any explanation. Holding a state round of the NSW XC series is an honour that a club works for. Many, many people have difficult arrangements to make in order to attend these rounds. These same people train and prepare only to be disappointed in an event like this. It is no wonder that XC racing in NSW is in decline.

Please support the Kempsey round. This race has been taken up at short notice. Double thumbs up to them!!!

I won't be making it and a few of the people I have spoken to from Sydney also will not be up there either as it is a long way to go at such short notice. Those of us with families can't change plans that quickly even though we would like to. :(

It is a pity because KMORC should be congratulated and supported for taking up the slack.

thier will be a under 13 class and entry will be $20 they will do 1 lap timed but can ride for 2 laps if they want KMORC
