Watch how some of those guys do it closely, and ask them for tips on the spot. Written instructions will do approximately fuck all to help you.

its pretty good. probably better than newcastle. i have only ridden it like 4 times and only once on mtb. i dont mean hipping out, i mean jumping out and landing in the other quarter parallel th the bowl.
i am from newcastle btw.

Just watch some of the other rdiers hit it, and then wait until there are only a few guys or ladies left at the park, then hit it. I would suggest that you do wait until there are only a few people at the park, that way you won't feel the pressure, and it you crash your ego won't be busted! :D

i ind it better to hit it when thers people there, if you make and they know it your 1st attempt theyll giv u a cheer if their nice, if you crash they go over and make sure ur not hurt too badly, this was the case at singleton skaty until it got taken away :(

id suggest you ask dan (purpleclassic) for some tips sebster, and im mates with him from sydney, and he seems to be pretty good at the umina skatey when i was there with him, but he realy isnt any good at explaining these things :p
