2 options, well, 3 options technically, but one of those is 'actually legitimately buying impact foam' and no-one wants to do that, as it costs about a metric fuck-ton.

1. Talk to your local "Foam and Rubber" warehouse about picking up offcuts from their place, here in Brisbane there's a place called 'Clark Foam and Rubber' dunno if it's a national chain, but something similar surely exists in Melbourne.

2. Talk to a gymnastics gym about getting their old foam when they clean out and refill their foam-pit. Apparently most 'reputable' gyms will do this pretty often, like once a year, so that their precious little darlings don't have to flop about in festy old foam. When my friend who is a gym coach told me "We just throw it out, who'd want old foam anyway" I nearly broke down and cried.

I'm also trying to get some kind of pit going at my house. Straw would work well, but it's really expensive (over $1000 for a large, elevated pit). If you used foam, what would you put it in? Some kind of skip or similar? Any ideas would be appreciated, Skin, or anybody else who knows for that matter.

go to a place called the shed its meant for skaters but at night time its bikes only so pop in there for a while an see in you like it

well, i was thinking about driving 8ft long (wood/metal)posts into the ground ,
Making it above ground boarding it up roughly 8m by 4m ? with a cover for when it rains, not exactly sure as yet ?
any ideas?
