Lupine - do you race that Super Mono? If you do, you'd know my dad - Chris Lucas...he's probably yelled at you for doing something wrong...
My family revolves around motorbikes...I wouldn't be into MTB's if it didn't...
I wish I had a Moto. I could get one at the end of the year keep my Raceline and race Motocross and not DH but my parents say there nowhere in Brisbane to ride and you have to drive for hours to ride Motos.

I would rather ride DH then Motocross, i dunno but i just would.
I want one of these when I have the money. Or something similar anyhoo.

AG bikes are just seriously fun cause they are just phat and indestructible. I wouldn't mind gettin into like those enduro races they do, bit different to mtb tho, you actually look forward to the uphills! Anyone out there do those races?? What about hillclimbs, do they hold those comps anywhere in australia?
TJumper, there is a motox course at ipswich and one up the coast at conondale on the sunny coast...relatively close to brissy.

i remember chris from when i was racing, but it's been a few years now.
i used to ride with rob tornton's guys.
haven't raced for years tho. the supermono had a compliance plate on it so we converted it to road use. was sooooooo much fun up glorious. we used to use it to scare fireblades. all the handling of a 250 proddy bike, with better HP and traction.
man, i gotta get one of these things fixed.

Mine: 02 WR250F, Staintune pipe, now wears either a UFO dual halogen headlight or a number plate depending on where i ride.

scotty: My little bro just bought a KTM 200 EXC, goes almost like a 250 but is a 125 frame. Very light and flickable much like my WR but still plenty of punch. Good bikes IMO.
Ivan: This ones for you, it ain't no Husky(wouldn't really reccomend one, my older bro had a TC 610 before this.......i didn't like it much, but thats a personal thing)
His new XR650.......motard machine. It now sports a black cut down front guard, number plate instead of headlight and is currently having a new stainless exhaust system made up, looks alot better than in this pic.

Hmmm, I think we've still got a Jr. 50 sitting under the house, complete with custom two speed box and all, and then dad's race bike is still sitting in the shed (lightweight classic: Cotton 250) along with an almost complete Ossa MX bike, and god knows how many barrels, crankcases and pipes etc. the bloody shed's full of them!

heh, every 2 stroke owner i know has a shed full of barrels and pistons. occupational hazzard.

Oh yeah, I think most of the ones we've got are off old Yamaha TZ grand prix bikes, I don't even know why he's got them, he never had a TZ.....
For quite a while though dad used to design and build custom pipes for race bikes, I think he had a different pipe for his bike for almost every track he'd race. Now the damn things have been shoved in the corner to make room for guitar amplifiers and speaker boxes. Either way, there's not a lot of room for my bikes! :x

was cleaning out the garage a while ago and found an old IT490 barrel with a piston and rings shoved in it.
it must have gone thru 6 house moves, and i never even saw it. i haven't had an IT in 10 yrs. i think the shit just breeds by itself.

I've got a '97 KLX250 that's been given a fair bit of aftermarket treatment. I ride mostly trails on it but if I feel like getting smoked I'll take it grasstrack MX racing. Can you say arm pump?
Nice WRF Gutty. That's probably what I'll be getting next, depending on what the new 250 4's from Honda, Kawazuki and KTM look like.

Not a motorbike as such but a Lambretta Li Series 1.
Seriously old about 1959/60. its not working, waiting in the shed for me to get some money and pay it some attention.
this is not mine, but one just like it

its very very beautiful, its frustrating me to no end that its not on the road.
I'd like to get it a side car.
if i ever had enough money i'd like to buy a yz125. 250 is just too ambitious for a girl like me. i'd get squashed!

man i love those things. freind of mine had a 70-something one, the 250ss. he spent a fortune on the motor getting it ported and worked. the thing was stupid quick on the road. total hoot to ride.
XR250's rock! We use em on the family property to chase sheep, carry dogs, hoon across claypans and other such rural pursuits - with decent MX helmets of course :) I'd love to get a bike for the city but i swear my mum would kill me first....anyone else have that problem?

Nope, my dad's been riding and racing since well before I was born, and mum used to go on all the rallies with him too. They don't have a leg to stand on.

I had the same parental problem with the bike, ie "you're not riding a motorbike as long as you live in my house...", so about a month after i moved out, i bought the VTR : )
Team Farkin almost aquired a 748 duke during our sydney trip, but the other guys dragged me away before i could get my wallet out : (
next bike will either be a 748, or an S4R monster....

Full black is the plan eventually, i think he wants more HP first though.

I had to do a little bit of work oni the front brake cause i made up a disc and caliper for it. Anyone know what type of bars i should get PM if ya do!
