Sometimes it is interesting to see how people react in certain situations tho...

these people do it to themselves...i did feel bad at some of the comments that were made, especially towards peoples appearance, but seriously rik if you can't have a laugh at yourself or someone else then you are taking yourself and life to seriously... :?

Shows like Australian Idol are an embarrassment. We have so much REAL musical talent in this country that doesnt get the recognition it deserves, while TV producers out to make a buck try and flood the charts with shit like this.
In fact the whole reality TV concept is a crock. There's nothing real about being stuck on a desert island and getting voted off, or being locked in a house completely cut off from the outside world. They're just shows which appeal to the lowest common denominator, for some reasons get good ratings, and are much cheaper to produce than real, quality entertainment.

So called reality TV should be banned, Joe millionaire,Big Brother, The Block,Aust.Idol,Survivor,Temptation Island,Popstars,The Bachelor etc etc are the biggest lode of shite ever inflicted upon an audience. Fortunately all of you guys know this already. To the non riding automatons who get excited by the prospect of seeing the drivel presented on these shows you really need to get a grip, get off the couch and hit the trail.And when you are at work log on to farkin.(anyone else do this?)

i posted that last one when my english teacher was like 2 metres away so here goes my payout of reality tv.
i HATE those shows, all the teenie boper fans and all the people who think it's good for our race. If i wanted to see people sit on a couch and read i'd look over and see my dad reading or something, how farkin boring can a tv show be!

Shows like Australian Idol and BigBrother are a joke. Not much that hasn't allready been said. Why would I want to watch someone random person from Australian Idol sing, or a stupid person from big brother get into a soapy show like neighbours. They becoem instant celebrities for getting locked in a house and being watched by cameras. Woohoo.. :roll:

I say we start out own TV chanell. It can be called FarkIt, and the motto, watch our MTB; or go to hell!

Blah, let the people who watch these shows enjoy it. They'll get sick of it soon, thus will translate into bad ratings thus will get canned. But, it will be replaced with more crap anyway, so it doesnt really matter in the scheme of things. I think the only thing that would make you guys happy is a 24/7 downhill channel am i right :)
