Downhill Race Calendar : Please Add Events

Well i thought this might be a good idea and helpfull to those people who enjoy DH racing.

The Idea is that whenever someone knows about a DH race coming up, they post an addition so that everyone can see a kind of "race calendar"

Heres what i think you should add into your Posts:
Name:
Date(s) of the Race
Times (ie Registration, Practice Runs, Race Times):
Location: (also maybe a map refrence)
Racing Classes/Qualification System:
Any Relevant Phone Numbers : (ie cantacts)
Anything Else That I'm Forgetting:

I think if people take a few mins. to fill this out it woudl be very helpfull :D

Name: CORC club round
Date(s) of the Race: Sunday the 5th of June, practice on saturday (the 4th)
Times (ie Registration, Practice Runs, Race Times): practice will start when people arrive! normally around 9-10am, racing is at about 1pm. prac on saturday is from whenever you want untill whenever you want. there are no official shuttles run by the club, but there will be shuttles happening constantly

Location: (also maybe a map refrence): Bateman's Bay, Mount BigBit. go to www.corc.asn.au (http://www.corc.asn.au/) and go to the trails link, follow through to the DH stuff and there will be directions there very soon, the ones there are a little vauge.

Racing Classes/Qualification System: noramally EVERYONE at corc club rounds get 2 runs, that has ALWAYS been the way, as we average 50 entrants total.

Anything Else That I'm Forgetting: CORC races are run for almost purly fun, there is always a fantastic atmosphere, everyone knows everyone. entry fee is $10, and a day license is $15. enter on sunday before prcatice. prac on saturday is not really part of the race, it just so happens that a lot of people are riding there on saturday before the race...
if you can make sure you come out because the track is a lot of fun, super flowy and so many really nice corners. and, no, it is nothing like riding on the moon (i.e. stromlo), its really nice grippy dark soil.



edit: CORC holds a DH race every month, so check out the full calendar on the wesite for more info. and for all you XCers (in the dH forums??) there are also tonns of XC and endurance stuff happening all the time (the club does host the 24hr solo world champs!), so if you're ken it's all there.

The next 4X Open Day hosted by Pushi at Delhuntie Park, Trafalgar, Victoria will be Sunday June 19.

The Dirt Jump will be open too, if people want to pull a few moves in the air.
