Does anyone else experience this?
im sure the more that i am at work...the more likely i am to attempt stupid stuff on my bike...stuff that i would otherwise not consider due to safety reasons....
its like work is eroding my 'self preservation' instinct
Am i alone? insane? or what?

I'm a bit of the opposite, I almost lost my job when I smashed up my collar bone. I was on light duties for 6 weeks. After that my self preservation instinct was considerably heightened. No money means no rent no car repayments and worst of all no bike bits. Still ride heaps but second guess any sketchy maneuvers. Those are the unfortunate necessities of life. Although the more you think about not crashing the more you seem to eat it. Maybe it's just me.

Sounds like your new job is getting ontop of you... How long have you been over there in Korea now?

I work in bike shop, so I have to explain to the boss (and usually everyone else) why I need the part I just busted doing something stupid.
Although some customers just make me feel like hurling myself off the nearest 40' cliff; damn cyclists can be assholes!
