Hi guys,
I have three rims that don't seem to work with the ghetto tubeless thing, two rhynolites and a singletrack.
Does anyone know of a trick to making them work at all?
It's going fantastic on one rim, a dice SMO, so I think I'm doing it right.
Cheers,
Ben

How did you manage to use a Dice SMO?
I had a set of wheels once with SMO's and the mid section of the rim was very very low. Because of this, I figured it would be next to impossible to run tubeless. If you've managed to work out a way... I agree... you obviously know what you’re doing.
Anyhow, what tyre/s and sealant are you using? Is the tyre a slightly tight fit on the rim strip (or cut tube) once fully mounted on the rim?

Glad someone thinks so! (I just don't hear that enough ;-) Copying to my sig now....
With regards to the SMO, I pretty much just followed the directions I've found on here, except I used Slime tubeless sealant cause the local hobby shop was out of latex, and a maxxis tyre. Incidentally, the Slime needed to be watered down a bit to get the right consistency. So far it's lost about 3 PSI in about one week and two rides and numerous pressure checks.
I think maybe the high centre of the SMO makes it easier, as it would tend to push the beads outwards.
I've tried using a Maxxis Highroller and a Specialised Enduro tyre. They both seem to fit on the cut tube ok I guess, they just won't seal!
Also, does anyone have any tips for getting the tyre mounted over the cut tube without putting holes in the tube?
