hello you orrible lot!
i was wondering whats the story wit horizontal dropouts....used to ride bmx and of course everything was all bolted, but can you use qr on horizontal dropouts? if not, its relatively easy to convert to a bolt axle ala bmx yeah? can you squeeze a 10mm axle through the hubs? thanks again
WOOO!!

Horizontal dropouts allow you to tension your single-speed chain - I have horizontal dropouts with a QR on my Mongoose fireball. They're fine but I do have chain tugs too (if that's what they're called..) to keep my axle from moving.

I doubt you'd want to use QR's without chain tugs unless you REALLY clamp that QR in there, even then, each pedal stroke will put quite a bit of pressure on the QR's.

If you don't buy some chain tugs for your dropouts - go bolt through...

if your hubs runs on losse bearings and not sealed, then yes you can convert it to bolt up. if not then not likely. running QR in horizontal is ok but if your riding dj/street. then i would back away from QR because they do move
