I thought I would point this out. Did anyone realize that the top three riders from the US Open were all on Platform pedals? Not to mention Sam Hill had the fasted time of the day, and yep, he was on platforms...
Chalk one up for us platform pushers...

Calm down...it was an innocent comment. I don't want to get into a platform V. clipless debate. I actually use clipless pedals on my BMX race bike.
By the way, sorry about the mix-up, I actually thought Kovarik got third...I think they reported it that way yesterday.

Rennie was DH Series World Champion 2003.
He rides flats.
A World Championship is a single race. Series is over several races, so in my mind that means more than a single race championship.

well thats all good and well in ur mind, i think pretty much the same.
doesnt change the fact that if u win the world championships, you are world champion. and no one has ever done it on flats...which is wat i said.

yeah, but there's a lot more prestige and hype that comes with the rainbow jersey. A lot more.

Here are the official results...it seems like there was a bit of confusion as to who took the third spot. A picture is worth a thousand words...

Ha ha...maybe Sammy or Nathan will take it this year. Seriously, it doesn't make a bit of difference to me--as to what kind of pedals everyone uses. A debate on pedals is about as useless as a one legged man in an ass kicking contest. It comes down to preference...
