View Full Version : WTR's new "Tank" is coming!
As some of you may know, Warren's "Tank" was nicked from outside RMIT. Well he had another frame sitting around and wanted to make it into something as solid as it's name...

Sort of makes you wonder just how many gussets you can actually fit to a frame that has nothing wrong with it, eh? Can't wait to see it built.

Haha...Wazza said it would be heavily gusseted...but DANG!
Nice work! :D
Holy crap, that's alot of extra meat
I like the BB grind plate, the rest of them seem almost superfluous, but I guess if he rides hard (and his last bike suggested he did), then why not... nothing wrong with overkill :D

It's low fat meat;) ... and that's not really a grind plate so much as "strengthening" after I opened up his chain stays to give an extra 5mm of tyre clearance. And keep in mind, Rik, that "overkill" is just another word for "hasn't shat itself yet!" :D
Umm..yeah, well, the other Tank proto was stolen while I was half way building this baby. So now I've got no choice but to divert all my earnings towards the project..:o
A bloody unreal job Grip did to the frame. He's the one and THE only one you see when you want repairs, just want to realise your dream mods. I really got a shock of my life when I saw him pulled the frame out of his car...dang...is that my frame?!?!
And the job was done within my planed budget too.:)

That is so cool.
I love it! Nothing like having confidence in your kit. What's the paint job going to be? I'd love to see it raw/polished!
