View Full Version : 03 kona Stuff Still in progress with upgrades coming

Hey Check out my bike, this my upgrade from a KMART bike! Tell me what you think about the bike, the upgrades and suggestions! Im still quite new to riding so any tips would be GREAT!


Frame: 03 kona stuff
Fork: Exr (will be upgrading to z1's :cool: )
Front Wheel: Sun RhyNo Lite XL, tufneck hub
Rear Wheel: M475, ditch witch (will be upgrading to either tuffneck with same rim as front or maybe the chrisking hub :o )
Bars: Azonic
Stem Azonic shorty
Headset: cane creek (will be upgrading with a chris king headset)
Cranks: truvativ husselfelt
Brake: Hayes HMX-1 (have hayes mags but really no need to install them for the stuff im doing, so will probably put them on with the chain guide)
Lever: Speed Dial 5
Tyres: Front/rear Maxxix Minions 2.5 (Waiting for the Holy rollers to come in
derailleur: Deare Lx
cassette: shimano stock.
Chainguide: Truvativ boxguide, will be installing sooon.

hey mate.
thats a lot better then a K-Mart bike! good upgraade. one of the b etter hardtails iv seen. the chris king hedset is definitely worth it. iv got one on ma bike n its lasted four years!! hope ur enjoyin it!

Yeah ill be installing the chris king headset next weekend :)

Cant wait to get new forks though :D
