So I finally got around to getting some pics of my new car.
2005 Subaru Forester XT Luxury Manual (2.5 STI Block, WRX turbo, Leather, Sunroof Etc...)
18" Wheels, Falken Tyres.
Blitz Pod filter and Cold air Shield.

Coming- 3" Turbo Back Blitz Stainless exhaust.
Blitz Boost Gauge.
and I am getting some bike rails custom made to suit 20mm axle to go on the roof racks (not fitted in pics).

I don't think I will lower it, I know it would look better, but I got the forester so I could have ground clearance to get to good camp sites and races etc.

SICK NESS!!! what about getting airbags shocks? so you can lower it for streed driving and put it up for races etc? I think you can get some 4 inches lower with them! Friend put them in his Land cruiser!

Dad has a forester, and its a great car. He has an 01, i think its badged 'Limited'. It sat between the base model and the turbo. He's looking to get a new one in a year or two. MrPlow, hows the power? Dad's main reason for wanting to get a new one is the 2.5L engine (his has a smaller engine). He loves it, but finds it a bit gutless with people and luggage in it.

Like it lots....black looks cool

But do you really want to be putting any weight on a roof with a hole in it.
Always thought that sunroofs were um um......a waste...

Oh yeah, remember seeing written by someone here on this forum "Forester is the NEW Volvo"......very mature car ;)

Enjoy it.

Always thought that sunroofs were um um......a waste... No probs, I love mine, it opens out to the back seat too. I ahve only owned one car without a sunroof

Oh yeah, remember seeing written by someone here on this forum "Forester is the NEW Volvo"......very mature car ;) Line up beside me and say that ;) I haven't lost yet :D The understated looks (and luxury) is one thing that attracted me to this car, blowing the XR6t's/SS's and Imports at the lights is oh so satisfying

I bought the car new.
Dane, the 2.5 runs the exact same turbo as a WRX, with an extra 1/2 litre the turbo comes on earlier than a rex, great through town. I didn't like the auto, but the manual goes hard. The new exhaust gives an extra 40hp as well, I can't wait, but prob will hold of until I get back from OS in August for that Mod.

Maybe.....but on a similar note, when I had a bit to do with racing tin tops, any car that had a sunroof was a no no.....you couldn't even plate them...

Personally I'm of the other opinion about sunroofs.

Anyways, will be pickin up a new car myself on friday, just a nissan xtrail.....

Please use the sarcasm filter on my original post.

Convert to airbag suspension. when you are cruisin around town have it low. If you want to go 4bn' press the button and up she goes!
