Item: '03 Sherman Breakouts 130-150mm with Cane Creek 1.5 headset, RaceFace diabolous stem and original Cannondale stem.
Location: Glebe, Sydney
Item Condition: Good, no scratches on Stanchions, only minor scuff marks on lowers. Manitou Australia did a full service including new bushes and seals about a dozen rides before I took them off the bike. The travel lockdown was replaced under warranty with a stronger unit when they where about six months old.
Reason for selling: I'm now using Dorados. :D
Price and price conditions: $500, will ship anywhere in Oz at buyers expense.
Extra Info: The '03 breakouts use TPC+ damping, not SPV. This gives a plusher ride and better small bump control. For a 6" fork the pedal bob is minimal, and virtually zero when locked down, so SPV is unecessary. Given this, I reckon that the '03 breakout is heaps better than an '04 or '05 breakout! :D The forks currently have a firm spring in them and I still have the original medium spring.
Note: Your frame must have a 1.5 headtube to use these forks.
