Reason for selling: Got the bug for Downhill Racing

Extra Info: I bought this bike brand new in 2004 for $2660. I used it regularly at HMBA club races and cross country treks at Scone. I have bought a Giant AC2 and have not used it since March. The frame has some cosmetic scratches but is otherwise in good shape, all pivots are solid and true. I look after my bikes and service them regularly. To sell this bike I have spent some money - I have replaced the Bottom Bracket (Raceface Evolve ISIS XC), Rear Hub (Shimano Deore), Cassette (Shimano Deore), Both sets of Brake Pads (EBC). All these are BRAND NEW and have not been used. The Front Fork is a new 2005 Manitou Six (80-100mm) with AHEADSET and was added during January - has been used on only 6 rides before March. It was replaced because I sent the original Manitou Axel away for a service and was lost by the transit company - Manitou gave me a new one no questions - TOP BLOKES! I gave it a new Italia seat a few months earlier - so has some signs of wear - otherwise ok. The big chainring was a tooth partially chipped off from a log strike but has never caused a running problem. This bike has been a faithful cross country rocket - but I am moving on and saving for a new Downhill bike.
